Postal voting
You have the option of casting your vote by postal vote or at the ballot box. Postal votes can be applied for in writing to the election management or by proxy at the AStA secretariat in Building 46, Room 205/207 by Monday, January 28, 2025 at 3 p.m. at the latest; postal votes can also be applied for in person at the election management by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the latest. Name and semester address (address with which you are entered in the register of eligible voters) must be provided.
The election letter must be received by the election management by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the latest. The election letter can either be handed in personally to the election management or sent by post. The time at which the election letter is received by the electoral administration is decisive. The election documents for postal voting are only sent once. If they are lost, you can only vote at the ballot box.
Personal assistance
Anyone who cannot read or cannot read sufficiently or who is prevented by a physical impairment from marking or folding the ballot paper himself or herself or from placing it in the ballot box may be assisted in the postal vote by another person.
